This is an excellent and essential handbook, not only for new faculty but also for the experienced among us who by their nth year in academia have forgotten (or take for granted) the many details and basics of crafting and delivering a great course. More importantly, this book is an important reference for chairpersons and administrators interested in improving their units teaching and curricula.
