I like that this text is brief, reasonably priced for students, and is good on what I feel are the most important topics (change, culture, motivation, job design).
I like the fact that the text provides a basic foundation and that I can then easily add new material in my comments in class.
My students love this textbook. They believe it is perfect.
About the Author
Joseph E. Champoux is a Regents’ Professor of Management Emeritus at the Robert O. Anderson School of Management of the University of New Mexico. Champoux earned a B.S. and M.S. at San Diego State University and a Ph.D. in Administration at the University of California, Irvine. Champoux has taught in France, The Netherlands, Austria, Mexico and Brazil. Champoux has authored or co-authored 16 book chapters and 30 print or electronic books, including Decision Sciences, Academy of Management Journal, Human Relations, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Management Education, Journal of Management Inquiry, Personnel Psychology, and the Journal of Organizational Behavior. His current research activities focus on film as a teaching resource. He is examining various film genres for scenes that show organizational behavior and management concepts. Champoux continues to develop film-based teaching materials, including on-line film scenes.

I read this book and everybody (high school or Master level) can read. Is not a heavy book. I recommended for all pourposes.
